dated decor lack of maintenance
the gardens provided a peaceful atmosphere. it was a nice space to relax in.
the room i booked was worn. the decor seemed dated, and there was a noticeable lack of maintenance in the bathroom. i think it needs some refurbishment soon.

clinical room inconsistent hot water
The room i was assigned initially lacked the charm depicted online. it felt clinical and did not match the description of vintage doors and serene views. the hot water was inconsistent. It impacted showering properly one night. the staff offered a small discount at checkout. I found it disproportionate given the hotel's premium status.

remote location mismatching room
I encountered a few issues . The location proved to be more remote than I anticipated, requiring significant travel time to reach major attractions. This isolation also limited dining options outside the premises. the room I initially received did not match the description of the room I had booked. It was in a newer section of the hotel and lacked the promised heritage decor (I booked a 'Heritage Premium Suite').
